A. DATA INPUT

Our software use images and videos acquired from a drone, mobile phone or stationary camera.

B. WE TURN PIXELS INTO KNOWLEDGE

Using machnie learning, advanced image processing algorithms and state of the art technology, the software extracts information on crack location and size, component displacement, strain/stress, rotation etc.

C. PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE

Monitoring data collected is used for predictive maintenance using quantitative risk assessment and reliability analysis.

D. LIFE CYCLE ASSET MANAGEMENT

Data from the software is then used to update BIM models and can validate FE models if needed.

BRIDGING THE GAP: The software is bridging the gap between the BIM model, FE model and asset management. The outcome of monitoring is updating BIM and FEM models helping asset managers to make most optimal decisions with respect to asset maangement and strategy (strengthening, replacement, temporary closure, addition, demolition).

Great Belt Bridge (Denmark)

DES image analysis software was used for monitoring of the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark. Great Belt Bridge is the world’s 3rd longest bridge and the longest bridge in Europe.
These were one of the world’s first such measurements and the software provided the client previously unavailable information about wind-induced hanger cable vibrations, dynamic properties and traffic-induced deck deflections with sub-mm precision. S52/E75 European Route Cieszyn (Poland-Czech Republic)

DES software was used for drone-assisted crack detection & monitoring of the 760 m long cross-border bridge between Poland and Czech Republic (S52/E75 European Route in Cieszyn).

DES software allowed for automatic crack detection with sub-mm accuracy (0,6mm) using image analysis. This information was subsequently used for BIM model update that can be used for life cycle asset management. Please see our YouTube video: https://youtu.be/P6fCjUtzHwI

May 3rd 2018: We have signed a partnership with Atkins SNC-Lavalin to develop a UAV-assisted damage detection system and a permanent vision-based monitoring system to be used for asset management of some of Europe’s largest and most important infrastructure assets.
SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business is one of the world’s most respected consultancies in design, engineering and project management, with a leadership position across the infrastructure, transportation, energy and oil & gas sectors. SNC Lavalin provide global fully integrated professional and project management services – including capital investment, consulting, design, engineering, construction, sustaining capital and operations and maintenance.

May 15th 2018: We established a cooperation with experts from the Silesian Universty of Technology in the field of Optoelectronics, BIM, Augmented Reality and Transportation Infrastructure Asset Management.

May 29th 2018: We are extremely proud to inform that our image analysis software “PixelTool” was used for innovative monitoring of the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark (https://youtu.be/Fx1r6nSmUrk). Great Belt Bridge is the world’s 3rd longest bridge and the longest bridge in Europe. Total length of the bridge is 6.8 km and the longest span is 1.6 km. The bridge is used by nearly 40.000 vehicles daily.

These were one of the world’s first such measurements and the software provided the client previously unavailable information about wind-induced hanger cable vibrations, dynamic properties and traffic-induced deck deflections with sub-mm precision. The monitoring campaign was carried out as a part of the asset management strategy that employs innovative monitoring technologies.  

We are currently further developing the system to be able to monitor the bridge deformations permanently.
